TFN

Type TFFN and TFN wires are recommended in most types of commercial and industrial applications where resistance to mechanical abuse is required. TFFN conductors are primarily used as machine tool wiring in conduit as branch or control circuits as specified in the National Electrical Code. Both TFN and TFFN conductors are suitable for use as Appliance Wiring Material as specified by Underwriters Laboratories Standard 758 where exposed to temperatures not exceeding 105ºC or where exposed to oil at a temperature not exceeding 80ºC. TFFN and TFN copper conductors are annealed stranded (TFFN) or solid (TFN) copper. The conductors are insulated with a tough, heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), over which a nylon (polymide) jacket is applied.
